The E-Board XP3i builds upon the success of this platform with enhanced processing performance,increased storage capacity, standard-equipped direct sunlight viewability, and updated communication capabilities.
Equipped with a 1.1 GHz Pentium M processor and 1 GB RAM, the E-Board XP3i zips through graphics intensive moving maps, data-base driven electronic charts, and in-flight weather NEXRAD images.
It delivers unrivaled connectivity options through built-in 802.11g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and high speed Wireless WAN support (GPRS, GSM, EDGE and more). Two USB 2.0 ports, two FireWire ports and a PC Card slot provide limitless expansion capabilities.
The E-Board XP3i's "convertible" design allows it to do double duty without compromise: in tablet mode, it is an effective, flight deck friendly Class 1 or Class 2 EFB; in laptop mode, outside the aircraft, it is a versatile flight planning and business productivity tool.
