Class 1 EFB: A Portable Electronic Device (PED) that is normally stowed during critical phases of flight. Typically Commercial Off-the Shelf Systems (COTS), Class 1 EFBs can connect to ship's power and read-only data sources. Other than power and data connectivity connectivity, Class 1 EFBs are not subject to airworthiness requirements such as DO-160E, and can run Type A and Type B software applications. |

TheE-Board C2 is a light-weight, rugged, daylight readable touch screen display designed for Class 1 or Class 2 EFB solutions. As a Class 1 EFB, the E-Board C2 provides access to static electronic documents, such as FOMs, MEL, checklists, tabbed performance data, manifests, etc. It is also capable of displaying real-time weather when connected to a WSI InFlight weather receiver. The built-in wireless module also allows connectivity to the Internet for Web or Email access.
