RESOLUTION:

The common folders and their use are as follows:

  • c:\drivers\ - This folder contains driver installation files for common EFB accessories or system devices. It is recommended that the end user does not delete this folder or its contents.
  • c:\pcefb\docs\ - This folder is provided for End-Users to store common EFB documents, such as User Guides, MELs, SOPs, or other static documents. These files can be accessed via normal EFB use through the EFB OS interface by click on the "DOCS" tab or "EFB Documents" button.
  • c:\pcefb\modules\checklist\ - This folder contains checklist files in HTML format. The standard checklists are accessbile through the EFB OS interface by clicking on the "CHECKLIST" tab, and then clicking on the respective checklist button, which then loads the respective HTML checklist. Checklists can be easily customized by the end-user using Microsoft Word or an HTML editor, and then saving the file in HTML format using the appropriate file name. Paperless Cockpit offers custom and interactive checklists for an additional fee. The default checklists are:
    • Normal (normal.html) - displays custom normal procedures checklists.
    • Emergency (emergency.html) - displays custom emergency procedures checklists.
    • Performance (performance.html) - displays custom static performance data and checklists.
  • c:\Jeppesen\Common\Route Packs\ - Route Packs created in JeppView or FliteDeck are stored in this folder. It may be necessary to periodically delete the contents of this folder.

Paperless Cockpit, Inc. does not warranty any changes to these folders and advises end-users to save backup copies of any files and folders being altered. Those who have questions regarding customization of checklists and documents should email Paperless Cockpit Support at support@paperlesscockpit.com.
